about

Musick/mix/master/concept/art/sfx/technologies (re)manufactured by Moloch 2014-2016 as 2nd output of TechnoIDSFear TRanscEndDor.
Preferably played as loud as possible...

Made by experimenting, sampling, industrial Angst and insanity, lots of inspiration from the movie Metropolis by Fritz Lang (great dystopia to accompany industrial ambient insanity). Front pic taken from classic Metropolis movie, the cut version (1927).

It's about the Industrial Age, a period of history that encompasses the changes in economic and social organization that began around 1760 in Great Britain and later in other countries, characterized chiefly by the replacement of hand tools with power-driven machines such as the power loom and the steam engine, and by the concentration of industry in large establishments (Wikipedia). In an infernal point of view.

I see infernal industry as a time both past, present and future, a dystopia where the machine and man are interchangeable, and one entity. Hence SF in TechnoIDSFear TRanscEndDor. Maybe industry is a necessary evil. Or just evil? My music is created in weird love-hate relationship with (evil) industry. Partly being (a)part of it, I try to make (artificial) esthetic sense to something that isn't so esthetic... But then, in one's eye of the beholder a factory can blink as pretty as nature can, industrial sounds be as soothing as wind through leaves in others' ears evoke...

Why the f*ctory use 'ambient' in a title with industrial topics!?
Well, because it underlines the heat of the infernal industry?
Yes that too ofcourse, and because it's a mellow music movement with a lot of repeated parts, which get one in meditative moods etc.
Ambient = mellow, meditative, but what about industrial music? I.m.o. this music can have that quality too so ambient and industrial can go tool in hand. Take the definition of ambient from some dictionary:
“Ambient is used to describe an aspect of the environment that completely surrounds you, but in a mellow way. Ambient describes some pervasive quality of the surrounding environment. Most times when you’re hearing silence, you’re hearing some ambient noises too, like the hum of a refrigerator or the whistle of a breeze. Usually ambient describes a quiet or peaceful quality, but it can be aggressive too, like the ambient drone of war planes flying above that you can hear no matter where you hide.” Even so, like the ambient drone of an infernal industry, very agressive and meditative at both the same and separately at other times.

All musick on this TechnoIDSFear TRanscEndDor album by Moloch. Preferably played at factory hall volume level. 'Moloch' picture out of Metropolis, a true classic and in accordance with the dystopia of infernal industrial insanity.
